EDGE wishes a happy holidays season to all its clients and partners.
In 2021, EDGE advanced the development of the eCare Platform, contributing to the digital transformation in Health and becoming part of several initiatives across Europe associated to health literacy, the self-management of chronic diseases and remote patient monitoring. Nevertheless, the largest company accomplishment has been the integration of the eCare Platform in the daily operations of the Domiciliary Hospitalisation Unit of the Hospital do Espírito Santo, facilitating the delivery of high-quality care.
The European projects SPHINX and AIMES are in the final phases and reveal a set of highly promising results in their respective intervention areas. In the SHAPES Project, the required adaptations to the eCare Platform were implemented, to be validated in different pilot sites across Europe in the next two years. Finally, in 2021, EDGE became the Portuguese SME with the highest success rate in the last Security call of the Horizon 2020 Programme, opening good expectations for the Horizon Europe Programme from 2022.
